Global Music Radio first started off as Global EDM Radio back in 2013 when it was owned and run by Kaz and Mark and it gained a lot of traction attracting a lot of DJ's from around the world. The station closed a couple of years later due to financial issues and licensing costs but now, under the same ownership team plus an additional owner with Matt at the helm and with a team of management, the station can now flourish as a radio station with intent. It is covered by it's own PRS For Music license and with a host of sponsorship and partnership companies joining, the station can now continue for years to come and the team have plans once the station hits around 10,000 followers to be able to do a UK event.
